Latest revolver purchases with picture

I just wanted to show my latest purchases. They are Taurus Model 82 .38 Specials. They were old police service revolvers, so they have holster wear. I went to buy one and the other one didn’t want to be separated from his friend. I got them for $160 apiece from a dealer friend. When I got there to choose which one I wanted, I just couldn’t decide. I got on the Taurus International website to search the SN’s to find the manufacturing dates, but they were too old to show up. I am going to call tomorrow to see what I can find out. I can’t wait for it to stop raining to go to the range.

Congrats on the pick-up. I've said it 100 times, but I'll say it again. Nothing ages more gracefully than a revolver.

I called Taurus International. After being on hold for 15 minutes the lady that I spoke with told me the revolvers were too old to be in their computer. Now I'm really wondering when they were manufactured.

Lock and load after cleaning. Use to see a few of those, but none lately. Great buy.

Wow great deal....maybe they don't excist? That was a price we can only dream of, so maybe the guns aren't real?
