    While not readily available much anymore and too big I am sure for what you are wanting to sharpen, I used to use coke bottles back in the day to sharpen full size scissors.

    I have used the circular neck on a salt shaker to to sharpen smaller sized scissors before. Works really well and it doesn't take much to get them back to keen cutters.
