The Charge TTi has an S30V blade. The Surge is sturdier and has the replaceable hard wire cutters.

I don't know exactly which one it is, but I keep a leatherman that I bought at HOme Depot for $20 on black friday in my truck. It serves my purposes well. Very functional.

Bought an original Leatherman when they first came out, but gave it to my nephew. Started reading this thread a few days ago then went out and bought a Surge yesterday. Haven't had a chance to play with it yet though. May have to buy a smaller one next...
