This rifle is in very good condition but is sporterized. It was manufactured by Savage and is marked "US Property". Cia imported and sporterized it but only rounded the forearm and free floated the barrel. With a cheap original stock it can be put back to full original condition. Blueing is in very good condition and looks to be one of the best I have seen. The rest of the rifle is also in remarkable condition as well as a bright, shiney mirror like bore. Rifle comes with scope (believed to be savage) with newer BSA scope mount that has see through for the iron sights. For those unfamiliar this is a .303 british caliber and ammo is available for around $13 a box unless you find surplus but it is getting harder to find the surplus ammo. Asking for $250 Cash FIRM but also willing to trade for other firearms, AR lowers / uppers. Average price on these guns in worse condition without the optics runs around $350 - $500 on gunbroker. This gun is an excellent shooter or can be made a collector by throwing an origional stock back on it that you can get from someone cheap that wants to bubba theirs.
