    I guess its a lot more rare than I thought!
    Fairly rare. They are going up in value too, but there are some fakes out there. About a year ago I read an article about them. Nice rifle, and the .303 is a good round.:yesway:

    just what is a no.5 worth today does anyone know a fair price?im talking on a realy nice one.not for sale just curious.

    I bought my #5 from my dad along with 2200 rounds of WW2 surplus ammo, he bought it back in the early 60's for $20.00. Someone chromed the bolt, magazine, barrel bands and butt plate.
    I have had some great times at the range with it, but with the cost of 303 ammo it has seen little time lately.
