Lee mold numbers

Apparently, it was too much trouble to stamp the bullet diameter and weight on their bullet molds ,but Lee did put an id number on them. I found a list of their new/for sale mold numbers, but not their old single cavity and discontinued molds. Where do you find that???

Or just cast a few and measure and weigh them?

If there are numbers on the mold, for instance. #452230 etc it translates to a .45 caliber and a 230 grn bullet. I think the the dudes at cast boolits talk cryptic to add a little flair to the convo. Saeco and Lyman have the same system.

No .. a bunch of their numbers are 5 or 6 digits, starting with 9... I have several that are no longer on their list. I have not used them in years but I would like to...

I would say Creedmores advice is best in this case.
