My MIL didn't want to have a big dinner this year and my SIL wanted me to fry a turkey. I said I wasn't going to buy $20 worth of oil to fry 1 turkey. I said for the money, we could go to Golden Corral cheaper than what we could buy all the food for just 7 of us. We all got to pick and choose what we wanted and I don't have leftovers to eat! It was a total win!

My Thanksgiving nap ran too long and I was unable to secure leftover turkey . I did score some awesome ham and some of Grandmas baklava.

(update) went for a sandwich and the only bread I have is frozen.

    Leftovers!?

That's what (all) I love about my in-laws, we just finished our third full course meal in two days! reminds me of the FG episode where Peter eats all the dehydrated food and then drinks a glass of water. . . "Everybody leave, I have to poop. . ."

My MIL's idea of cooking a Thanksgiving dinner is buying one of those cheap Aldi's hams with the hard skin on it. I like turkey and ham but only in small portions about once a month or so. I can't stand eating on it for several days.
