Alrighty then...I'm going to put an end to the anticipation and get this thing off the ground. I was excited to put this thing together for my fellow INGO'ers...
So in the morning I am going to start the build.
I have tabulated the results and what we will be building is as follows...

    Hunter
    Stainless blade
Wood handle (it was actually a draw, but I have a plan)
8 1/2" overall length (more or less)
    with bolsters
    & a leather sheath

I hope you are as excited as I am about this. This knife could be yours....

Sweet. Can't wait to see some progress. I wish I had the time to get out and grind some steel. I guess the next best thing is seeing someone else do it.

Glad YOU made the decision because I'm such a newbie when it comes to edged tools that I wouldn't know what I was talking about. I do recognize the idea of a hunter though and that would seem the most practical. Looking forward to the pics showing the steps. I am hoping to be included in a build w/that "other fella" in NE Indiana :>)
