I was pleased to get my response letter today from Senator Coats. In the past he hasn't had the best track record in regards to the 2nd Amendment. In his letter he states that he supports the 2nd Amendment and will NOT support any legislation that infringes on those rights. He goes on to specifically call out NOT supporting the Assault Weapons Ban.

    Thank you Senator Coats!!

I received an e-mail 'letter' from Dan Coats, as well. Believe it was on Friday.

His reply to me satisfied me that he is on our side on this issue. :yesway:

Got a letter from Dan Coats today as well. I've had firm responses for supporting the 2nd Amendment from both Dan and Todd Rokita. Haven't heard from Lucky Joe yet! Guess it's time to write another reminder about our Bill of Rights and his oath to uphold our Constitution!!!

I received a letter from Senator Coats and an e-mail from Congressman Rokita. Both were very pro 2nd amendment.

Sure.... but how does he define "infringe"?

Does "infringe", in his mind, include:
    -Banning "high capacity" magazines?
-Requiring a Class III for "assault weapons"?
-Requiring a background check for private transfers?

I trust none of these jokers any further than I can spit.
