What is the typical distance to sign in a 44 rifle?

As a non-44 owner and based on Harrell's testing, I'd go with 50-100 yd depending on your typical shots and available space. For instance, in WV were I do my whitetail hunting, my Dad goes into the trees where everything is basically 50yd and in. I tend to hunt slightly more open areas and usually shoot around 70 yd give or take 20 yd.
