The ex had her new sticker mailed here without my consent. She's now living out of state. Can I get in trouble for forwarding this to her (ie does my address implicate me in anything)? I'm assuming her plates in the new state are more $ than Indiana.

I havent spoken to her in 1.5 years and I'd prefer to keep it that way.

    Return to sender?
Be a phallus and throw it away?
    Call dmv?
Forward it and get on with life?

Is she hot? If so, I may be willing to deliver it. Don't tell me she's crazy Chris. I can handle crazy, but stupid and crazy is another story.

Note the ex part. She violated the hot/crazy matrix after a while. You can deliver it and find out for yourself which changed. :)

Exactly; there are reasons they are an "ex."

Also, I don't think you want the BMV and others who use BMV records, like the courts and the police, thinking that she and her car belong at your house. :)

I guess I'd "return to sender" too....but I certainly wouldn't be afraid of criminal liability or anything. That's just silly.

Exactly, i would forward it along with a short note telling her don't do this again.
If it happens again, return to sender.

True, I wouldn't worry about criminal liability or anything, just the uncomfortable situation when law enforcement shows up later, looking for her for some reason, or papers land there because someone used the BMV records to locate an otherwise missing defendant. Also, information aggregators like Lexis-Nexis use all kinds of public records to determine addresses.

Tax fraud and the nonexistent liability issues aside, I just wouldn't want others thinking that my ex was living there, staying there, visiting there, or, well, anything involving my address.

Btw, I'm now taking applications to fill her spot. Who knows a candidate?

    Requirements:

    Full time job
    Own transportation
Must be below a 6 on the crazy side of the matrix
Financial responsibility-ie doesn't blow paycheck each week
    Likes dogs
Tolerates dating a hunter (read: gone on weekends)
    Out of mommy's basement
    Likes the outdoors

    Anyone know of such unicorn?
