"I'm not sure I could put the feeling into words or if there are even words to describe it. All I can say is that I have been on 230 mph passes that were almost peaceful, but this pass was not. Third gear did not cooperate, and there was a cross wind at the top end that caused me to drift toward the cones. I had to back off the throttle in fifth gear to control the head shake and keep from sliding into the cones. I believe a clean pass would have been closer to 260 mph," she said in a prepared statement."
