I think is has something to do with your area too. Ayoob makes a big deal out of it, but I don't recall ever really hearing about any actual cases. It was more speculation about what could happen or might happen at trial. There have not been any cases in my area where this even came up. If the SD shooting is justified its justified. If its not, the ammo won't make any difference.
