Gov. Newsom asks California bars to close, tells older residents to isolate due to coronavirus

Faced with mounting coronavirus infections, California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Sunday issued sweeping new restrictions in California, calling for home isolation of everyone in the state over age 65, the high-risk population group.
He also asked for closure of bars, wine bars, breweries and pubs, and called for restaurants to reduce their occupancy by half. He called that “deep social distancing.”
The dramatic announcement, designed to keep people away from each other, stopped short of closing restaurants. Instead, the governor said they can also operate at reduced capacity and with curbside food service and at-home food deliveries.

And just a point of interest... last night a truck load of toilet paper was delivered to a local Costco UNDER POLICE ESCORT, due to a tip that a hijack might be attempted.

It's in the 2-yr Plan. I grew up between Columbus and Gnaw Bone. But we have our eyes on a place down in Magnet, along the Ohio. IF our property values aren't trashed in the next six months...

I used to live in the God forsaken State of IL for 23 yrs before moving back to IN. Even lived in both Champaign & Urbana (liberal college towns) for a few years too.
Glad to have moved back to Indiana for sure.
