So is it too much to ask to have my 45 colt Taurus Thunderbolt threaded now... Now that would be unique. My hybrid 46 doesn't get that much use.
Had a Taurus Thunderbolt in 45 Colt as well. After shooting less than a box through it, I sold it. Couldn't get over the powder burns on my face.

Fun gun to shoot, minus the obvious.

My opinion but that’s an abomination.
A suppressed or tactical lever action.
    I just don’t get it.
Ar-15’s are for tactical, semi autos are for tactical.
Lever actions are again in my opinion for wood stocks with blued barrels and iron sights.
    Old west style.
I suppose you would probably like suppressing revolvers too?
Old timers would turn cartwheels in their graves if they saw these modern lever actions.
    Yes ,,, good grief.
My suppressed Rossi is blued steel and hardwood stocks with iron sights.

I’m sure that your right, true old school real outdoorsmen would be disgusted by a suppressed lever action. Like Theodore Roosevelt. I bet he‘d call me all kinds of names….

    Oh , wait…

Never mind. TR had a suppressed Winchester 94 in .30/30.

I never called you a name don’t get excited.
Just because TR had one don’t mean it’s all right.
Heck if I was around back then I’d probably have one as well but you gotta realize that’s all they had. Semi autos were just coming in.
    Again.
Don’t take it personally. It my opinion but I’m sure there is more that agree with me than you.

Wow...this thread took a wild turn.

Suppressed doesn't have to mean tactical. Shooting suppressed has a lot of benefits and I'm all for it. Lever gun, bolt gun, AR, whatever. Thread it.
At least it hasn't degraded into a b!tc# session about pineapple on pizza ... Dang it ... now it has.

Considering the OP specifically said “for fun”. I guess some guys are too tactical and all guns have to be ’for serious use’. Hoo ahh and all that jazz….
