Was there a statute passed prohibiting employers from not allowing you to leave your firearm in the car while at work? Someone told me they can no longer do that. Thanks in advance.
I've always understood it as your employer makes the call. I've worked for people where you can't have a gun on there property at all no matter where while you're at work. But what doesn't know doesn't hurt them. Until you get caught and they fire you.

They can no longer prohibit or fire you for it. But Indiana being a hire and fire at will state, they can fire you for any other reason if they find out. Keep the don't tell and keep it in your car and you'll have no issues. They may not search your car because they think you have a gun in it.
