Discovered this forum when googling "ported barrel". Great information!

Fairly new to guns. First purchase was a Glock 23 in 2009. Current carry gun is a Beretta Nano. Probably the nicest gun I own is a Walther PPK/S that I bought as a keepsake from the sister of a dear friend who died of cancer. He always told me that was the gun I needed, but it means too much to me to carry. Be patient with me...I have a lot to learn, but I've really ramped up my research in the last six months.
