That's a nice looking example of the model 60.
It's a squirrel model and still in GREAT looking shape.

In early 1941, while America was still officially neutral, the British Government contracted with Savage Arms Corp. to build 200,000 No. 4 rifles at the former J. Stevens Arms Co. factory in Chicopee Falls, Mass. After the entry of the U.S. into the war, Savage continued to make the No. 4 under the auspices of lend-lease agreements. The lend-lease Savage-made rifles were marked “U.S. Property.”

Enfield Revolver Number 2 Mark I** made in 1943 by Albion Motor Company...

The vast majority of Enfield No 2 revolvers were made by RSAF (Royal Small Arms Factory) Enfield, but wartime necessities meant that numbers were produced elsewhere. Albion Motors in Scotland made the Enfield No 2 Mk I* from 1941 to 1943, whereupon the contract for production was passed onto Coventry Gauge & Tool Co. By 1945, 24,000 Enfield No 2 Mk I* and Mk I** revolvers had been produced by Albion/CG&T.

That's one mean looking SKS, had I known that could be done, I would have kept some of the SKS's I've owned over the years.
Maybe I'll look for a beater SKS, and do the bull pup kit.
