I asked Ruger if they had a rail for my P-95.
They said it was to old to be concerned.
I just wonder why they just do not mount a rail to the shaved down rear site.
A person just tape out the old site and install the rail.
That could be avabible of all hand guns with dove tailed read site.

Yep, I can't see the purpose of this myself. $439 for just the slide and barrel to make a subcompact not so compact anymore.

I saw these back before shot. I actually really like this idea. I love my shield for the slim profile and comfortable shooting. I have also been saying for years that the slide length matters little when it comes to IWB concealment of a pistol. I do agree that the price is a little too steep for my taste. I am already running a threaded barrel and TBRCI comp on my shield and can say that holster fitment is not as bad as some might think. It is already confirmed to fit in the Phlster Skeleton. The biggest thing that will keep me from buying this is that I already have my shield slide milled for a Shield RMS and I don't want to pay to have a new slide, and then pay to have it milled to fit the dot again.

Now if someone wants to buy me one of these to run for awhile and test it out I would be happy to. :draw:
