BCM makes some of the highest quality AR pieces today. If you think they're nothing more than "mall ninja" AR's then you must not know much about ARs

Guys, thanks for all the great advice. Heading back there today to see if it's still on the rack. From the replies, I probably wasted time posting and should have just grabbed it. The 'dis' on KeyMod...who gives a crap...I wouldn't hurt it. Plus it already had s few rail small sections on it. Damn it.. I knew I shoulda jumped on it...

And no...not taking anyone else with me nor divulge LGS...

One of my BCM uppers is an ELW 16" with 13" Magnesium KMR and BCM Comp. It is 100% reliable, and really likes TAP T2. I use a Leupold VX-R Patrol on it, and I can't think of a better all purpose AR. Mine sounds close to what you are looking at.

I also have experience with other BCM uppers (14.5 ELW BFH pinned comp with MCMR, and 11.5" Standard barrel with KMR)

All of these uppers have exceeded my expectations in reliability and accuracy. Go ahead and get the BCM!

BCM makes fine ARs. I'm sure the OP will be well served with whatever model BCM he chooses.

Went back yesterday and it was gone; they sold it later that day. Never should have put it down. Thanks to everyone for your great BCM input and firsthand experiences.

BCM has a BF sale, 16” upper with MI keymod for $415. You can buy a lower for $400. BCG and charging handle would put you right around $1k new. Hope this helps!
