Is the 17 Hm2 a dying cartridge? The folks that have them seem to really like the little cartridge but there does not seem to be a lot of support from ammo mfg’s. Plus, fire arms manufactures seem to be dropping their offering from their line. So, the question is, do I locate one (preferable a CZ) and make a purchase and run the risk of having it sit in the back of the safe or make a purchase and live happily ever after?
P.S. I’m on the north side of 60 so I might beat the odds.:D

I would say go for it-I have truly enjoyed this little round-it is a tackdriver cartridge and great on small game and target shooting. The CZ is a very good choice for this round-they are very accurate and reliable rifles.I have an Anchutz in this caliber and really like it.

You really can't go wrong with a CZ mach2. although they are getting very difficult to find.

IMHO this is the best rim fire round to be found today. I have a Kimber which will absolutely shot same hole all day long. I love it, and would not hesitate to buy another.

I've been trying to give away old boxs of shells for ever nobody seems to shoot it much

Still looking for a home for the rounds you have? I have a 17M2 suppressed and absolutely love the rifle, but with the ammo crunch I am about out of rounds.
