looking for 1911 parts

just really needing some good suggestions on the best sites to buy good (cheap)1911 parts. beaver tail, hammer, trigger, some nice thin grips, stuff like that, any input would be greatly appreciated, and if you have anything just taking up space, let me know. im not above buying used parts!

Start with Brownells... If they don't have it at a price you are comfortable with, you are pretty much SOL.

Don't waste your money buying "cheap" parts. They're all made from crappy metal. If you need the gun to work buy quality name brand parts. I've seen all of the bad ones fail while the good ones keep on working for years. Also, don't believe ANYONE who tells you that their part will drop in. Quality parts are made oversized so that they can be precisely "fitted" to your gun. They do not drop in. Manufacturing tolerances can run from way under to way over with holes incorrectly located and not parallel to the frame or other holes. Probably the best name in the business currently is Evolution Gun Works. They're good folks and they know what works and what does not.
