Century isn't all that bad if it has a good barrel. Just remember anything by century is a "project gun" and some assembly will be required before you can expect it to be anything special.

I've had good luck in general with century, I think the people who don't, don't realize that the guns really need a lot of polishing, deburing and general break in.

My PSL's bolt would get stuck to the rear about every other shot out of the box. After some dremel work it now has the smoothest action of any gun I own.

DSA has a Imbel FAL rifle at $995. It is basically a Imbel FAL kit built on a DSA Type I receiver.

There are some custom kit builds on Enterprise receivers also.

    Ditto on falfiles.com

My experience with Century stuff, it CAN be a project gun but not always. I've got a Cetme that runs perfectly, got a French Mas 49/56 7.62x51 conversion that runs perfectly. My brother has a Century WASR ak that runs fine. I figure with Century builds, just research the issues and make sure to really check the gun out to see if everything is right.
