    I have the mini 30. All I shoot is red army steel. I have to say it is one of my favorite rifles to shoot.. I have a couple... lol
    I did install a new hammer spring kit which helped with the light primer strikes..but I still get 1 or 2 a mag. I love taking her out to the range and blasting cheap ammo. I would not recommend for competition or duty rifle. Accuracy is decent but after the second shot, the barrel heats up and the only accuracy you get is through volume.

    unnamed (1).jpg i have a yugo npap and have never had issues. smooth trigger internals are well machined and installed no canted sights or bad pins. and i think i got mine new for around 600

    Try CZ 527 I don't think you would be disappointed. I have several CZ's from pistols to rifle in 30.06 I really think they are quality but I am a fan boy of CZ.

    I've had the same mini30 for 15 plus years, and have fed it nothing but steel case surplus ammo. I can not recall a single misfire or stovepipe ever....ever!

    Sig 556R gen 2, if you looking for something a little different. They get a bad rap from the gen 1s, but mine has always run fine.
