So I'm looking for a fixed blade with a molle sheath to mount horizontal on my chest rig. Also looking for a small hatchet for my bug out bag. Don't wanna break the bank on these so cheaper the better lol

Any and all options welcome. Thanks guys!

    What do you consider cheap?

Inexpensive but solid hatchet or tomahawk- Estwing

Inexpensive but solid knife- Becker BK2

The BK2 doesn't have a nylon sheath, but you can attach the polymer to molle fairly easy

Given your cost constraints; take a look at the SCHRADE SCHF3N. For that matter take a look at all the SCHRADE knives in the SCHF lineup.

    .
I've been pretty happy with what the Tom Brown Scout has done for me for almost 10 years, but that may not be as large a knife as you are needing.

Sorry I didn't include this in my last reply. Look at COLD STEEL hawks and CRKT hawks, especially the CHOGAN.

Yeah I forgot about Condor. They make some good blades for the money

I was aware of them, but didn't look closely until my ill-fated youtube bender. I've seen and handled some and they are impressive tools. Given the price point, they're even more so.

The best aize hatchet or mid size imo is the small forest axe. Its perfect. Great chopping power, still very packable and with the right ones sharp enough to skin or do very fine work with choked up on.
