If I recall correctly, the Japan Tasco target scopes were pretty well received. Popular in silhouette.

I have an old friend who swears by those old Japanese Tasco scopes. He has owned a dozen or more of them.

Well, I got a scope. I almost went with a Sightron 36x because it was a little cheaper than the Weaver 36x but then I ordered an Athlon Argos btr 8-34x56 ffp mil. for $267. on Amazon.
This is almost perfect for what I wanted. At 34x it takes all shooter error out. It has spoiled me so much that I don't like using my "better scopes". It is a little darker and a shade off from my Leupolds, Sightrons, or Vortex and I might not trust it to hold zero for all around use but for the bench it is great. Great scope for the money!

I thought you said cheap. I was going to offer up my BSA PLATINUM 36X44.

I was thinking about the BSA 36x but did not know if it would hold zero and never talked to someone that had one. How is it ? Do you like it ?
I love the Athlon Argos but just curious.
