I have been wanting to try some IMR Trail Boss powder for some of my lead plinking loads, but have not been able to find any in the Fort Wayne area.
Anybody know where any can be found?
Have you used any of this powder and if so what do you think of it?

I really like trailboss for plinking loads. Rifle pistol lead and jacketed. It is an accurate powder. I killed a squirrel with a 38 spec 125 and trailboss. A lot of fun in 45-70 too. 12 grains under a 405 cast.

From where I am, you should be happy to find any powder at all, much less a specific powder.

Jerry's Gun Shop in Rensselaer has Trail Boss on the shelves. About 5 or 6 I saw today. Have no idea of price as I don't use it ......yet.

My powder shelf is well stocked with my main powders, I'm just looking for something new to try.

Indy Gun Club had some a few weeks back.

As for FW area, perhaps 21st Century in Bluffton?

Called 21st Century, didn't have any.

If all else fails the Ft. Wayne Coliseum show will be 10/12-13. Trail Boss is worth waiting for - very versatile for light loads with lead bullets.

Starting to look like my best bet.

Thanks for all the responses. Glad to hear it works well in a 125gr lead 357 load. This is what I want to try in my Blackhawk.
