Looking for local CLEO - Marion County

I am looking to purchase my first Class 3 sub gun and was told it is a good idea to make sure that my local CLEO will sign off on before putting down the funds for the purchase. If this is true, where can I go to get confirmation. I live in Marion County. If I'm going at this the wrong way, please advise.

You will have no problem getting forms signed in Marion County as long as your a proper person. Call the Marion County Sheriffs department for how the handle them.
