    I just got a blem PSA complete lower. Good to tell the FFL to expect it, although if you use one of the bigger ones (like Elmores) they may not care. In my case, the shipper contacted the receiving FFL to get the right info.

    Also, to the OP, I'm working on a sub-$500 AR (will post about it once all the pieces are here). Honestly, in this market, the better economic option is to buy one of the deals in the classifieds. When the market cycles back to favoring sellers, a parts gun will never get as much as a name brand. YMMV.

    But, if you're like me and wanted to get an idea what it was like to build one out, then that's different.

    You may want to check out a place in Middlebury Indiana called Vision Armory... Right now they are selling AR's they machine themselves for 600.00 That is there base model you can add what ever you and have the coating you want too.. That is a store front special only. And it may end soon.
