I heard about this from a buddy of mine that lives in Alabama. I guess they even had to set a curfew at 8pm and anyone out passed then got arrested. Crazy stuff.

Scott - I completely reject your line of reasoning. Gas @ any price is not what leads MOPES to commit cirmes. Whether price gouging, looting or any other way to take advantage of a situation like this. They made a conscious decision to be dirtbags long before Katrina, or the tornados.

Lots of people are having a hard time in this economy and still behave correctly, even generously, toward their fellow citizens.

Looters should be shot on sight. I'd have a hard time holding fire if I came down what used to be my street, only to see vermin like that going through my stuff. They are among the worst that society has bred and deserve only a clean kill shot. Nothing more.
