Losing Youtube on Firestick?

Message flashed on my TV screen today while watching Youtube on the Firestick that effective Jan 1, Youtube would no longer be available to my device. A search of the web produced no results confirming this. Has anyone else seen this, is it true?

Thanks for the insight, should they not resolve their differences in time; my TV will get a lot less use.

Wonder if you'll still be able to play it from your phone and connect to the firestick. Probably not.
