I don't think I'd mind our LTCH becoming a LTCCW (any and all "weapons") and pre-empting all the local statutes in the process. The patchwork of local ordinances out there is unnavigable.

Just curious.... why do you need a 13" survival knife while shopping in Avon?

I went out to my girlfriends dads opscr a few times a month to camp, or hang out there, and just never got around to taking it off. And sometimes just because I wanted to.

I was waiting on my permit and wanted to get used to the idea of carrying something that could be potentially lethal to calm my nerves about it. Peeperation for lack of a better word.

So stupid. Higher up law should supercede lower law. ie, if Indiana law says you can carry a knife of any length, then you can carry a knife of any length. What...are we going to start adding street laws also? Lets then have each street have it's own police force with it's own legal system and rules. You have to take a different bus route because that one goes on the street which doesn't allow 4" blades but you need to get off at stop 34 because then you can bypass the bus which goes on the street that only allows 5 serrations on your knife.

    Where does it end?
