Asking for a friend.
Can a school employee (teacher) that has an Indiana LTCH permit/ license, keep the firearm out of sight and lock in vehicle while on school property?

My understanding is as a citizen, yes it is lawful.

However as a teacher, if anyone found out, their teaching position may be in jeopardy. I'm sure there are probably provisions in their contracts that reference weapons possession.

Just curious if Indiana statutes have any protections for the I really should not have had it there but since I had to use it for a lawful purpose it’s ok? Situation

I was thinking along the Line of an off limits place like a school. I really do not think the mall would have had a leg to stand on. If they even attempted to prosecute for trespassing since being asked to leave never entered the equation.
