    Asking for a friend.
Can a school employee (teacher) that has an Indiana LTCH permit/ license, keep the firearm out of sight and lock in vehicle while on school property?
    Thank you

The short answer is yes. IANAL! Please refer to the following for Indiana Code attached for clarification

Not a lawyer, Not legal advice.

My understanding is as a citizen, yes it is lawful.

However as a teacher, if anyone found out, their teaching position may be in jeopardy. I'm sure there are probably provisions in their contracts that reference weapons possession.
That is what I told the friend. From what I read you are good unless someone finds out, then you could possibly lose the teaching job. Appreciate the comment. Thank you

Just curious if Indiana statutes have any protections for the I really should not have had it there but since I had to use it for a lawful purpose it’s ok? Situation
