FYI, Luckygunner has Tula M1 carbine ammo @ $31.00 a box. They show that at 4:51pm on 4/26 they have 272 boxes in stock.

I've got 200 rounds coming, wish I had the available funds for more...

IMO it is right now, especially since I only have 50 rounds. Beggers can't be choosers in the current state of available ammo. Besides from my experience the "newer" polymer coated steel cased ammo has received a bum rap.

Glad to help out. Funny thing is I read your posts about reloading M1 carbine ammo and almost PM'ed you. Didn't know if you'd be interested in steel cased ammo though...

CMP wanted $0.42 per round or $210.00 for 500 but would only sell to clubs.
I'm willing to go $0.20 more per round especially since you can reload it if it's boxer primed and all of the Tula ammo I have has been boxer.and I have not had any problem with steel cased ammo so far.

Cheapest I've found was $0.70 per round but I wasn't able to buy it online for some strange reason? I've seen it for sale for as high as $1.10 & $1.75 per round but there were no takers.
So $0.62 per round doesn't seem so bad any more especially since the dollar has lost so much of it's buying power.
Their stealing from us on both ends.

After re-reading the advertisement it DOES say berdan primed NOT boxer, so I won't try to reload it. But I'll have something to shoot anyway. I have been saving my brass but I don't have very much.

That's strange, Cabela's doesn't even list .30 Carbine ammo on their web site anywhere, steel or brass cased.
They do have some rifle ammo at $16.99-$21.99 for a box of 20 rounds.

They had pretty much every caliber known to man in stock except for .22s when I was down two weeks ago. Might make a nice day trip? It's in the suburbs of Louisville, just opened up.
