I can't think of one thing bad to say about the M&P. They look, feel, and shoot good. The price is reasonable and they retain their value. They are just as reliable as any of the other go-to guns out there and you never hear about major malfunctions with that S&W product line.

I would get it, especially if you can buy it used. If you don't like it, most likely, you can get what you paid for it.

I agree with Que. I upgraded to a M&P about 6 months ago and loved it. Feels a lot better in the hand than a glock or xd and shoots just as good if not better.

if its anything like the M&P 40 cal it's worth its weight in gold imo. If you want an easier trigger pull/reset the Apex seer kit is cheap (around 40 bucks) and easy to put in (also vids on youtube if you need em).

ok i will retract my previous statement.i put a few mags thru my m&p 45 this morning before getting rained out. at about 15 yards, i was putting all 10 rounds in a 2 or 3 inch group- which is for me is so unbelievably good it had to be a fluke. :)

perhaps the m&p will make it into the carry rotation.....

Did you not shoot your M&P before today or did it not perform well the first time?

I like the M&Ps. Nothing bad to say about them. If they matched the capacity of the Glock 21 or 30 in the analagous sizes I'd be all over one.

Que, I had shot it before. The first time I did ok but the next few times I couldn't hit anything with it.

I don't know if I have improved my technique or if it was a fluke, but this morning was awesome.

I checked one out the other day at the gun shop, their were 2 sizes of the 45 I really liked the feel of the smaller one. plus I like the fact that I can change the grips to fit my feel.
