M1 Carbine extractor!!

l lucked into an M1 Carbine this week. My Grandfather gifted it to me. I was extremely grateful and excited to get it out and shoot it with my 10 yr. old son. Everything was great until the 8th round or so , when I noticed the spent sells weren't ejecting the same. The extractor had broken and blown apart!
Where can I find a G.I. forged extractor, and do I need to purchase an M1 bolt tool to correctly install the new part? I hope to have it running again in the next few weeks, so my Grandfather and son will have the experience of shooting it together. I yield to the vast knowledge of INGO for guidance.

Now there IS a tool to help with this job. It's possible to do it without the tool. But it's a PAIN IN THE ARSE.

As to where to get the parts, I recomend Ellicott Depot

Depending on what went FLYIING and missing, you may need some other parts.
