I was looking at the ODCMP.com web site and cannot find leather slings for an M1 Garand. They only have the cotton slings. Don't they sell the leather slings? If not where is the best place/price to find one?

Turner Saddlery is one source that is very popular.
M1907 Military Rifle Sling - Turner Saddlery Inc

Turner has "seconds" of the 1907 sling for $50 or so, from time to time. Plenty of discussion on the CMP forum regarding leather slings. Most will say beware of the Chinese knock-offs found on ebay. Maybe a half dozen suppliers/leather mfr's out there making fine slings.
Leather vs cotton? Both are correct for the Garand.

PS- I think one would be struck by lightning if ya put a Chinese sling on a M1 Garand !!

That Ron Brown sling on the Creedmoor link is a really nice shooing sling. A little pricey, but worth it if you're using it for position shooting.
