I bought this six or seven years ago at Plainfield Shooting Supply and have never shot it, or even taken the tag off of it.
It's a Springfield Armory 1954 or 1955 model (apparently they didn't keep detailed records for later models) with a new, never fired 1965 Springfield Armory barrel. It's not a numbers matching Garand, but it's very nice. The forward stock pieces are in near new condition. The rear stock has a few imperfections but it's still in very good condition. The bore is bright and shiny. It still has a little storage grease on some of the metal surfaces, never cleaned it because I never got around to shooting it. Comes with five en blocs. Indiana i.d. required.
Only trade considered at this time would be an atv in very good condition (electric start, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, or Suzuki).
