M13.5x1LH.... Guardian 9 Booster

So... despite what Huntertown says, they do not have any M13.5x1LH boosters for the Guardian 9s. I've asked and asked and have been ignored enough, I just made my own. I used Titanium Ti-6Al-4V I had laying around and machined my own. NOW the Guardian 9 can sit on my P226. When you can't buy...make!

Oh I am so jealous right now.

I have heard that Sig makes 1/2 x 28 threaded barrels for the 226, and I have heard that they stopped doing that a long time ago. I still have at least four or five months for my stamp, so I havent gotten around to asking Sig directly yet.

Did you ask Huntertown directly about the booster? IIRC someone said that they were actually selling Guardian 9s bundled with the M13 boosters. Im wondering if this is a specialty thing, or if they truly dont exist?

Yeah, good luck finding a 1/2-28. I searched. You can order from Bar-Sto...$350 and 8 month wait.

Yes, I'm a dealer so I contacted them maybe 5-6 times. They stopped responding. At the time I ordered, they said they had the M13.5 boosters...but they have yet to sell them. They now just ignore my inquiries. I lost a sale of a Guardian 9 because of it too. Ordered it with the metric...but they said that it was an option when I asked why it arrived 1/2-28. I know they are busy and overwhelmed. I was just upset that when I ordered I was told it would be M13.5. I decided to make the best of it and fix it. Joys of having a full CNC machine shop.
