When Magnacut was first announced, I did all my online research. Considering Larrin Thomas' academic and professional background, and the reviews from prominent knife influencers, I decided to get a Magnacut folder. Finally came in last week - a mini Adams. It's a speedy option but I love the design. I also have a full-size and mini in CruWear. I haven't fully tested out the knife but so far, no complaints - even at the price.

I make blades with magna cut, it is expensive but so far I have had extremely good blades with it, it is very hard to sharpen like m4 tool steel or s90 v . it is hard to grind and finish . usually takes around 3 times the amount of time to finish a blade. I cant say its the best cause I have not made a knife for myself yet. IMO its way better then most steels out there. the toughest steel I have ever touched was vanadis 8 , that stuff is not friendly to a knife maker.
