A few years back, I installed a Phase 5 Extended Bolt Release on the AR10 I owned at the time. It worked as intended.
Years forward....The Colt LE6920(OEM2 Build Out-2014), the CMMG Resolute 100 (PSA lower) and the CMMG Banshee 45ACP are all getting Magpul BAD levers. One is already installed on the Colt and the other 2 should arrive Tuesday or Wednesday.

I was impressed with the ease of install and how the lever functioned (dry cycling).
Academy Sports shipped them for free and so $29.99 each plus Indiana tax.

On rifles and carbines, I shoot left hand (left eye dominate). Figured this out during Basic Training Range Qualifications.
I find these levers allow me more ease in locking the bolt back or, sending it forward.
Hopefully they will hold up over time.

I don't disagree with the valid point of adding another part.
However, the MagPul BAD lever doesn't alter the function of the bolt hold/release. It is just mates onto the unit. It the bar breaks or is damaged, the paddle works as normal.
Good point though on the failure possibility.
