I have been looking into buying a Magpul MOE Handguard for my AR, the weight reduction and the very low cost, but the only that that worries me is that on most of the sites I have seen selling the Handguard say that it will only fit with a standard A2 front sight post, can anyone confirm or deny this? I am wanting to use a railed gas block and a flip up sight.

If you had the standard handguards that drop in via pulling the delta ring back, the MOE should drop right in. I like the MOE, light, and you can put just what rail you need right where you want it. I'm waiting for my camera card to format to show u some FDE porn in another thread.

Yep, works with the railed gas block fine. I have had a black one laying around for a few months and I decided to stick it on today. I kinda like it, definitely different.
