Likely because Indiana lacks any form of Constitutional carry and OC ONLY with a license. That's a killer for many. Indiana, in many ways, is hideously over regulated.Did you see some of the comments on there about the ranking of the gun friendly states?
I did some google searches and saw several lists, none of which IN was in the top 10. However, all of the reasons for the first 10 Indiana has (at least I think we do). Plus, Indiana recognizes all carry permits from other states, which the others do not.
So, can anyone tell me where Indiana is lacking and being beat by the others? The only thing I can think of is that you need a license to carry a handgun in this state and there are some others that dont require it. But, we don't require a license to carry a long arm, so we're still better than a bunch of others.
I was just wondering why IN isn't in the top 5 or 10?
