I reason I asked. If I decide to keep my 10/22, I'll be in the market for a bi-pod with picitiny rail attachment. I saw a Mako on Midway for $30. Since it's a plinker, I would not want to drop a lot on a bi-pod. I like shooter ridge bi-pods, but they do not make what I would need.
I have had a few things made by Mako/Fab defense and they seem to be pretty good quality wise. I had the Mako railed forend on my Mossy 500 for a while and I like it. I think you would be fine with a bi-pod from them. For $30 I'm sure it can handle some plinking.
a lot of products they sell are hokey to say the least so I wouldn't buy many of them based on that alone. that being said I do own a mako pistol grip VFG and while I don't use it anymore when I did it was a solid and sturdy as 99% of other VFG's on the market.
