I've had that, the real thing at an authentic restaurant, soft taco with tongue. I like to just slice it up and make sandwiches.

You should try it sometime. If it's on the menu, ask for a small sample. It's like a super tender roast beef.

Guess he was looking to make one of the seasonal favorites ... mince meat. Cow tongue is one of the many ingredients my aunt used for making her mince meat pies. True mince meat, not that candied stuff. Tongue was only one of the varius "cuts" used. I would share a few of the others but I don't get your appetite too worked up.
