Denver Police pulled over Alexander Landau for making an illegal turn. When he refused to consent to a search of his trunk, asking police for a warrant, a bloodbath ensued. Several officers bludgeoned him with fists, radios, and flashlights. One of the officers was involved in another brutality case in April 2009. The Denver Manager of Safety resigned after a long string of recent police brutality cases.

Let that be a lesson to any of you who think that you can use your silly constitution to protect your privacy. This is a direct result of the War on Drugs and the fishing expeditions that cops are encouraged to go on.

Watch, by coincidence the cruiser cams were off that day. That type of stuff makes my blood boil. I recently got pulled over and the cop wanted to know where the marijuana was. He said my car wreeked of weed and that he wanted to search it. I became enraged as I dont smoke weed nor do I associate with people who do. His blatant bull**** was more than I could stand. When I told him to call the K9 unit to walk around my car, he made me exit the vehicle and cuffed me. This was on the fourth of July 2010 at 10am. He cuffed me and said, you are not under arrest but wait here in the back of my cruiser while I search your car. He and his buddy searched my car feverishly and found nothing. At this point in the cruiser I can here him running me for warrants, none, valid license, yes, good registration yes. He comes and gets me out of the back seat still handcuffed and starts rifling through my pockets. I literally had an Amoxicillan pill in a small pill container in my pocket and he said whats this. I ecplained that I had oral surgery recently and that I was taking antibiotics four times a day but did not want to carry my entire prescription on me. This cop actually said " this is illegal, this is a violation of legend drug act." I explained that my house was three blocks away and that my wife could bring my bottle to verify this. The piece of sh** took me to jail and charged me with a D felony. My wife had to pay $550 to get me out after sitting there for six hours. The case was dismissed at arraignment when I brought my perscription bottle to the prosecutors office.
Officer Tackett in Clarksville IN said I would think twice before smarting off to a cop again. Officer Tackett took away the option for civil conversation when he said my car smelled like weed as I knew he was utterly full of BS.

I immediately went to Clarksville town police station to file a formal complaint. To do so the complaint must be verbally described to thd major and he then deems whether or not its valid and if a form will be issued. During my description of the events he kept saying it would be my word against the officers for the various infractions I was listing. I stated everything is on the cruiser camera to which he replied " Clarksville doesnt have cruiser cameras" I thought of course you dont LOL.
Anyway I was issued the formal complaint form in which I described exactly what officer Tackett did to me and would you believe no one ever followed up with me? Right.

Its one of those, didnt think that type of stuff really happened, at least not to white people, until it happened to me and there was not a damn thing I could do about it besides saying the offenders name officer Tackett and telling others what he did.

I heard the news warning people of carrying prescriptions in those 7 day carriers because of this exact same thing.

I think if I were you and living in the same town as this officer I'd install my own dash cam with audio for the next run in with him. You got a way and he's gonna remember you.

Maybe I am a unicorn but all of the guys I work with are great fellows. Obviously there is no excuse for police brutality. That being said I can find anything I want on the internet. If I wanted to post stories daily about heavy equipment operators beating their wives, I could find it.

Side note the passenger was indeed arrested. The probably cause afdv stated the suspect attempted to disarm an officer. The problems here; # of officers on the stop, use of force. If the suspect did indeed attempt to disarm the officer with the amount of officers on the scene it should have been a breeze to control and cuff without using any hard impact weapons.

I think about anyone would try to get a gun if the police were beating him/her for no reason.
Also the LEO who he tryed to disarm didn't list it in the report.

There's plenty of law enforcement love to go around on both sides of the Boot On Your Neck Party. Clinton loved them so much he funded 100K extra of them. Obama's doing the same. Politicians love the enforcement game and make sure that it gets its fair share of the plunder, year after year. Don't make the mistake to think that it's all on side of party that is responsible for the growth of this particular segment of government.

Why isn't the war on drugs an actual war, with two sides fighting?

Police officers need to remember their place, or else we'll have to remind them someday who they work for, and what their job is.

Buy a gun, use it against any thug who tries to harm you. The only person who is going to defend your life is you.

    BS!

    FDS is mental health issue.

Fox news channels all around the US report on all types of abuses including LEOs.
Even the local INDY station FOX 59 has run with the LEO problems.

Personally I don't think citizens who are brutally beaten for not voluntarily consenting to a warrantless vehicle search is funny.

I realize that cops deal with the scum of the earth on a regular basis but don't let it color your perception of the rest of the world. There are more than a few armed citizens on this board who would step up and prevent you from getting shot if the opportunity to do so were presented. But an attitude like you just projected makes the prospect less than savory.

Some days its tough being the only considered adult in the room.
