I wouldn't let Nick The Glock Doc touch anything I owned. There is a Glock doc there that will install the new sites for you, but I don't know how much he charges or what sights he has on hand

He is not a certified Glock armorer. Glock will not allow him to re certify. All his certificates he posts are expired.
Does someone really need that piece of paper in order to know what they are doing?
I'm not familiar with the guys in particular.....and I'm all for finding least expensive solutions.....but first off, one places "certification" is another's Microsoft Word printout.....an armorer "certificate" doesn't make someone an expert by any means no matter WHO it's from.......I've known gunsmiths with 40+ years experience and never had a manufacturer's "certificate"..but I'd put their skills up against ANYONE currently on the market...secondly, if a certification expires does that mean they loose the knowledge/"know how" on a device whose design relatively hasn't changed
Advertising himself with their name while not working in an official capacity directly for them would be grounds enough for them not to be willing to recertify........again, certifications are ........but certainly, go where it's cheaper for such an easy jobI absolutely agree with almost everything you say, but I took the comment that he was once certified, but that they would not let him re-certify.
There is usually a good reason for an organization to not allow someone to re-certify. But either way I won't buy anything from him when I can go across the aisle and save +/-30%
