We have an new marksmanship program available to all shooters. For $5 you can walk in and take a shooting test. If you successfully complete the test you receive a marksmanship pin for your efforts. These tests can be completed with any gun of any caliber. The shooting must be witnessed by an employee of Parabellum. The target will be scored by the employee. We have the pins for level 1 through Level 3 at this time. Level 1 must be completed before Level 2 can be earned and so forth.

These pins will look great on hats, range bags or wherever you desire to put them. So come on in and earn yours today.

The difficulty gets harder as the levels increase. Most people should be able to achieve level 1.

    Looks cool!

Patch versions would be cool too. Especially if they would "nest".

For example: Imagine level 1 was this appleseed patch:

    AS905-OvalPatch.jpg

and 2-? were like the rifleman rocker (to be sewn above the patch)

We wondered about patches, but went with pins thinking they would be more popular and easier to display on hats and such. Who knows maybe down the road.

So you can bring your own firearm?

To obtain a level 2-3-4-5, (or whatever you can do) do you have to test through prior pins?

    Your own gun is fine.
Must complete Level 1 first, then 2 and so on.

I agree. A pin can go on any piece of clothing you happen to be wearing. A patch would only be on one piece of clothing.

Interesting concept for a "friendly" competition between buddies.. You would be shocked at how a little pressure like an observer can mess with your shooting if you've never done it. Try to imagine what it would be like in a life/death situation. Training is the only thing that will get you where you want to be. 90% of the time giving someone 30 seconds for 10 aimed shots will dramatically affect their accuracy.
