Had the detachable magazine version of that gun a while back. It shot very well particularly with 30 & 33 gr ballistic tip loads and was devastating on prairie dogs at 75 yards or less.

I had its cousin with the magazine feed. Amazing rifles. I disemboweled a couple varmints from 25 yards. In at the neck, and out in front of the opposite back leg. Exit pressure took innards with it. Needless to say there was no tracking down the critter. It was DRT.

I have had one for about 12 years now, clip fed. I have used it for all manor of game up to and including deer. (I killed a deer with blue tong a couple of years ago at my lake) Mine likes CCI's best. I tends to get stowed in the barn a lot, and is just the right medicine for varmints that cause issues in the garden or fields. I bet it has killed more groundhogs then the dedicated varmint gun.
