    Unless you just really want the Marlin, Savage makes a good .22 semi auto. The wood stocked model is called Model 64 G. It has a ten round detachable magazine, open rifle sights and the receiver is grooved for a scope if you desire that. It is built in the Lakefield plant in Canada and costs about $150 brand new.
